A message to my progressive friends

Dear friends and associates that embrace the progressive label,

It is July of 2023 and it is way past time to attempt to clear the air. I think it was around 2016 when we stopped having regular interactions.

Was it that I have conservative economic views?

Or was it that I expressed support for Trump (DJT) ?

Was it me who cut off the relationship? If so, let me try to explain why. If it was you, can you please tell me why?

My desire is to find common ground and continue pursuing comradery and happy lives.

Just about no one likes to constantly argue. And it is assumed that passionate views are expressed out of good intentions.

It seems we just have a different understanding of what "progressive" means.

It is not only possible, but beneficial to be both conservative and progressive.

The truth is that the contemporary progressive luminaries have and are doing much harm to the US republic.

For example, Biden's choice for FTC Chair Lina Khan implementation of "progressive" policies do more harm than good for society:

Khan is a leading “neo-Brandeisian,”
Inspired by Supreme Court Justice and progressive icon Louis Brandeis, adherents of this ideology view big business as a threat to small businesses, workers, and consumers simply because they are big.

I was always open to hearing your reasoned views.

Small Farms for Growing Healthy Food

Small scale sustainable Food Production

Mono culture farming is more prone to disease.

Plant a variety of plants including poisonous ones to protect the plants you like .
For example, most of the wildflowers got eaten be the critters except those growing around these two plants. Can you identify them?

Why we don’t trust Government:

Another example of why we don’t trust Government:

While we like the idea of a libertarian society, consider the view of folks such as Brian Doherty, who points out that one "has to believe" that "the instincts and abilities for liberty . . . are innate," that we possess "an ability to fend for ourselves in the Randian sense and to form spontaneous orders of fellowship and cooperation in the Hayekian sense." But this view of the relationship between the individual and society is profoundly and demonstrably false, especially when applied to the family.

The lesser of two evils?

Sometimes one has to make a difficult choice: Commies or Nazis?
Not either if we can...
Stalin was used to defeat Hitler.
Let's not support ANY form of totalitarian government, foreign or domestic.

Thank the Heavens that Obama/Biden have been partly taken out of power.

  • Work and pray this never happens again.
